How does virtual reality support schools?
We partner with a wide range of education providers, including universities, schools and over 19 virtual schools, providing experiential learning and development for a wide range of professionals across the sector.

Our experiences cover key and emerging topics affecting children, young people and those supporting them, including; abuse, neglect and trauma; child criminal exploitation; child sexual exploitation; fetal alcohol spectrum disorder awareness; social media and digital platforms; and knife crime and serious youth violence.
Our VR Platform also hosts content from third party organisations, partnering with Alzheimer’s Research UK, National Autistic Society and independent fostering agencies across the country.

Our Adolescence (Between Us) VR films provide virtual schools with an immersive journey into the minds and lives of adolescents, revealing the unseen struggles they may face.

Stockton Virtual School
After hearing about Cornerstone VR from another local virtual school, Stockton Virtual School were keen to implement Virtual Reality (VR) into their training sessions to help put Attachment, Award and Trauma Informed (AATI) learning into context for their school and social care teams, and to provide professionals with a deeper understanding of children’s lived experiences.

Southend-On-Sea Borough Council
Being one of the first local authorities in the UK to implement Cornerstone VR across its services in 2018/19, Southend-On-Sea Borough Council has set out to use VR to improve awareness and understanding around childhood trauma across its services, in turn, supporting the timely decision making process regarding their most vulnerable children.
