One of the UK’s leading providers of health and social care technology has three reasons to celebrate after being shortlisted in the prestigious LaingBuisson Awards, UK Business Tech Awards and the National Children and Young People (NCYP) Awards for its pioneering VR programme.

Cornerstone VR, part of The Antser Group, has been shortlisted in:

• The ‘Excellence in Training’ and ‘Excellence in Children’s Services’ categories in the LaingBuisson Awards 2024;
• The ‘Tech for Good’ category in the UK Business Tech Awards;
• The ’The Biggest Impact Award’ and ‘The Partnership Working Award’ categories in the NCYP Awards;
• Royal Television Award in the Craft – Post Production category

Working with partners across the public and private sectors, including local authorities, emergency services, children’s residential home providers, independent fostering agencies and NHS Trusts to name a few, Cornerstone VR is dedicated to driving impactful change through its flagship virtual reality (VR) programme, empowering professionals to deliver enhanced care and support to vulnerable children and young people, ensuring positive outcomes.

To date, Cornerstone VR has certified more than 2,500 VR practitioners who have rated Cornerstone 4.8 and 4.7 out of 5, for providing a deeper understanding of a vulnerable child’s perspective and equipping professionals with the ability to use VR impactfully, respectively.

The shortlistings come after Cornerstone VR announced its rebrand in August, further cementing itself as an expert provider of virtual reality (VR) training solutions.

Its programme’s immersive experiences are designed to foster empathy and understanding of early-life trauma, such as abuse and neglect, covering key topics such as child exploitation, social media and the digital world, and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD).
